Air To Ground

ATG technology is a wireless communication system designed to provide broadband connectivity to aircraft by transmitting signals from ground-based stations. These stations are equipped with specialized antennas that are oriented toward the sky, creating a coverage area that extends vertically into the airspace. This coverage typically reaches up to the cruising altitudes of commercial aircraft, which is around 10-12 kilometers (or 30,000-40,000 feet), and internet speed up to 100 Mbps.

The system works by establishing a robust and high-speed communication link between the ground and aircraft, enabling a wide range of applications such as in-flight internet for passengers. The ground-based antennas are strategically placed to ensure seamless coverage across flight paths, minimizing signal loss and maintaining consistent connectivity even at high speeds and altitudes.
