Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — PT Sentul City Tbk. and the PT Akses Prima Indonesia (API) – PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk. consortium have entered into a partnership for the provision of fiber optic based telecommunications and multimedia infrastructure and services in the Sentul City area, Bogor.
The agreement was signed by Keith Steven Muljadi, President Director of PT Sentul City Tbk., Teuku Muda Nanta, Executive Vice President of Telkom Regional 2 Jabotabek, and Gunung Kartiko, President Director of PT Akses Prima Indonesia, at Sentul Highlands Golf, Sentul City, Bogor, on Tuesday (18/7).
Guided by Sentul City's vision to be the property company of first choice for customers and other stakeholders by improving their quality of life, one initiative being realised is upgrading the telecommunications infrastructure in the Sentul City area with the latest and most advanced technology.
Through this partnership, the API-Telkom consortium will build fiber optic based infrastructure all the way to end users, including homes, offices, and buildings across the Sentul City area.
Equally important is the construction of BTS towers to strengthen and extend the signal coverage of telecommunications operators. To improve safety, comfort, and order in Sentul City, the partnership will also deliver an advanced CCTV system with centralised and integrated command covering the entire Sentul City area.
“This collaboration is aligned with the development and partnerships pursued as part of the Smart City Establishment, which will grow Sentul City into an intelligent city with information technology connectivity that integrates, connects, monitors, and manages the city's resources more effectively and efficiently to maximise service to its residents and support sustainable development,” said Keith Steven Muljadi, President Director of Sentul City, in a statement on Tuesday (18/7).
