JAKARTA – To strengthen the provision of fiber optic based telecommunications and multimedia infrastructure, PT Akses Prima Indonesia (API) and SouthCity have partnered to deliver telecommunications infrastructure and IndiHome services across the SouthCity area in Pondok Cabe.
Gunung Kartiko, Managing Director of PT API, said the partnership is a source of great pride for the company.
“We are very proud to be trusted to build the fiber optic infrastructure across the entire SouthCity area,” said Gunung Kartiko on the sidelines of the MoU signing with PT Setiawan Dwi Tunggal, the developer of SouthCity, at the SouthCity Marketing Gallery, Pondok Cabe, South Tangerang, on Wednesday (28/3).
SouthCity spans 55 hectares and combines housing, apartments, office buildings, a mall, and a hotel in a strategic location between three key areas: South Jakarta, Cinere, and Depok.
PT Setiawan Dwi Tunggal, the developer of SouthCity with 20 years of experience in property, hopes the area will become a vibrant entertainment destination supporting the lifestyle of residents and visitors through its facilities, one of which is a fast and reliable internet network.
“With the support of PT Telkom Indonesia, we are committed to providing telecommunications infrastructure and IndiHome services in the SouthCity area,” Gunung added.
In line with the development of SouthCity and the build-out of this fiber optic infrastructure, the area is expected to grow into a smart city.
“We hope the Smart Home Solution partnership with PT API runs smoothly and meets the objectives of both parties,” said Hambali, Director of PT Setiawan Dwi Tunggal.
